the photo on the left is of a little church in the bay of Ligaria and the photo on the right is one of the many hill residents living among the very strange rock formations that I love so much!
The full moon was rising nicely in the Cretan sky when I noticed a partial eclipse! This photo shows the top of the moon being shadowed slightly, it is a shame I didn't have a stronger camera to take a better shot for you!  The flowers to the right only make their appearance in the dark of the night! They are appropriately planted next to a couple o bottles o beer that also seem to make their appearance at night!
I must say the beautiful aroma from these night flowers exceeded the smell of the beer bottles!

The full moon came out in fine form this September over the bay of Ligaria Crete. Manolis informed me that the September moon is far superior than the August full moon, after seeing it rise,  I had to agree with him!

You can find this Greek Restaurant along the main beach of Aghia Pelagia. We enjoyed delicious filet steaks a fresh Greek salad and drinks for around 30 euros! Very good service, friendly and very good food!
